On Saturday night, Chord Overstreet celebrated his birthday at Tao at the Venetian. The “Glee” star, who turned 22 on Thursday, brought along fellow cast mate Harry Shum Jr. and a group of 15 friends for the party. On the red carpet he shared that some of his best birthday presents were a camera and video games and still more gifts are coming. Overstreet also said his dream “Glee” guest star would be Brad Pitt, but mentioned he has been thrilled with all of the amazing guests they have had so far.
The group dined at Tao, enjoying signature dishes such as sea bass and spring rolls before heading up to the nightclub.
Upstairs Overstreet and friends took over the elevated VIP tables in the moat section overlooking the entire club. He was surprised with a birthday cake in the shape of a guitar by Gimme Some Sugar. He pretended to play the cake and took pictures of it with his camera phone, even asking to have the cake delivered to his room once he left the club. The group sipped Grey Goose cocktails and danced to the sounds of DJ Vice until nearly 3 a.m.
