Foodies delight for the third installment of Gourmet Abu Dhabi. The 16-day event features a wonderful line-up of culinary events led by esteemed chefs including a Gourmet Brunch on February 11th and Chocolate & Pastry Brunch on February 12th.
This year’s schedule is tightly packed with special workshops featuring the knowledge of master chefs who have obtained international recognition for their cooking skills. Learn about special ingredients, cooking, restaurants and the hospitality business as well as attend some on-site cooking demonstrations and deliciously prepared dinners. Tonight James Martin of Saturday Kitchen fame holds a celebrity dinner at the Crowne Plaza on Yas Island. You might want to attend as well a South Korena dinner given by Chef Sang-hoon Degeimbre on February 7th at Al Raha Beach Hotel; modern Indian specialties given by Chefs Vineet Bhatia and Atul Kochhar at Souk Qaryat Al Beri from February 3-6; an Emirati Royal Dinner by Chef Maroun Chedid at the Emirates Palace on February 9th; French specialties given by Chef Régis Marcon at the Yas Island Hotel from February 13-16; and of course, various patisserie demonstrations given by renowned female patissiers from February 9th onwards.
