Most people hibernate through the winter months, grab a hot chocolate and cuddle up by the fire. Not you. You know winter is a special time of the year that can be even hotter than the summer months with unique snow-filled fun. So don your UGGS and cutest puffy jacket and prepare to get winterized.
1 Skating in the Sky
Ice skating 1,000 feet above ground isn't something that most people can say they've done, but the Hancock Observatory is now making it possible. Overlooking the Magnificent Mile, Lake Michigan and Lake Shore Drive, visitors will have the experience of a lifetime — 94 floors above ground. Bonus: the Monday kids classes are taught by the Blackhawks themselves. We won’t judge if you borrow someone’s children for the day.
