No time to make it up to Santa Barbara to stock up on your favorite vino? Or do you just want to find a few new favorites to add to your list? Whichever the case, LearnAboutWine and Scott’s Seafood will host the 8th Annual Stars of Santa Barbara, an event where you’ll be sure to discover some new Santa Barbara wines without having to pack your overnight bag.
LearnAboutWine has always been abreast of the wine culture in Santa Barbara (they’ve been hosting this event for eight years, after all), so you can be sure that every winery and winemaker featured will only be the best of the region’s offerings. On Jan. 18th, LearnAboutWine will partner with Scott’s Restaurant & Bar, one of Costa Mesa’s most beloved restaurants, for an event bringing over 40 wineries from Santa Barbara right here to Orange County.
In addition to tasting and learning about the region’s wine and winemaking, guests will enjoy the appetizers and light bites from Scott’s menu as well as have an opportunity to speak to some of the winemakers themselves. Participating wineries include Buttonwood, Cargasacchi/Point Concepcion and Cargasacchi/Point Concepcion. A few wineries are also making their Stars of Santa Barbara debut, like Presquile, Sanguis and Zotovich. With so many different labels in attendance, you’re sure to discover a new favorite to add to your cellar.
