Then look no further because the W Atlanta Downtown is kicking off 2011 in true rocker style with an all-new line-up for their popular music series Symmetry Live featuring exceptional local singers and songwriters. Located at DRINKSHOP inside the W Atlanta Downtown hotel, this concert series is the perfect companion to the beautiful hotel atmosphere, flowing, potent cocktails and a lovely crowd filled with Atlanta’s beautiful people. Tonight, Thursday January 27, is a performance by Colin Devlin who will be performing two shows for attendees, at 9 and 10:30 p.m. As The Devlins, Colin and his brother defined the cinematic rock sound of the 1990’s with a series of internationally acclaimed albums that generated tracks used in dozens of film and television productions. The Devlins atmospheric grooves transcended both genre and era, earning a four-star review in Rolling Stone for their 1993 debut, Drift, and worldwide praise for their subsequent efforts. Now, Democracy of One takes Colin to a whole new level as a solo artist that is sure to please and delight fans old and new. With this intimate solo album, he explores matters of the heart in a lush acoustic setting that puts his voice center stage. Atlanta music fans are lucky to experience this talented musician perform in an intimate setting that will have guests hanging on to his every note.
