Sarah Stegner Resolution Club: the Haute Way to Keep Your New Year’s Resolution

I’d be a lot more prone to staying on a diet if diet food didn’t taste so diet-y disgusting. Nutrisystem, Weight Watchers, [insert your favorite meal plan here], they all sound good in theory, but leave that sour taste in your mind of do I really want to eat that when the chocolate chip cookies just look that much better? Maybe it’s a lack of will power or maybe it’s a recurring theme with trying to eat healthy.

Apparently, I am not the only one who wants good, well-balanced cuisine. Two-time James Beard Award winner, Sarah Stegner, chef/owner of Chicago’s Prairie Fire restaurant, kicks off 2011 with the “Sarah Stegner Resolution Club,” January 17 – 27 with ten days of gourmet healthy meals, three times a day.

Assisted by well-known nutritionist and cookbook author, Mary Abbott Hess in menu creation, Sarah will personally dine with anyone who wishes to join her on the weight loss mission. Cost is $500 for all 10 days, three meals a day or join her for one meal a la carte.
