Must Have: Jimmy Choo Launches Fragrance

Capture the essence of one of our fave luxury brands, Jimmy Choo. Just this month, the company launched a fragrance simply called Jimmy Choo. Created and inspired by Tamara Mellon, founder and Chief Creative Officer of the brand, the scent is exotic, sensual and still very approachable. Mellon, who is also the face of the ad campaign for the fragrance, says “the fragrance evokes a sense of feminine confidence, seduction and sensuality.”

Jimmy Choo fragrance is composed of pear nectar and Sweet Italian Orange top notes, a Tiger Orchid heart note and an Indonesian Patchouli bottom notes. Not one for Patchouli, I was pleasantly surprised when I got to try this new perfume.  It truly is a delicious blend. Even the bottle is a must-have accessory. The faceted cocoon shape of the eau de parfum is inspired by the jewel-colored Venetian Murano glass which itself is evocative of the many jewel encrusted Jimmy Choo stilettos that walk the most celebrated red carpets.  And you might also recognize the pink snake skin box that carries the fragrance—it, too, is inspired from a Jimmy Choo pair of shoes.

Go take in the essence at the Jimmy Choo Boutique at Phipps Plaza. And fragrance aside, the spring collection of shoes and accessories is amazing!
