Mandarin Oriental Features Ehlers Estate Wines During National Heart Month

Throughout the month of February, wines from Ehlers Estate in St. Helena, California will be featured at Azul and Café Sambal at Mandarin Oriental, Miami to celebrate American Heart Month. Proceeds of each glass of Ehlers’ Estate Sauvignon Blanc ($14/glass) and 120/80 Cabernet Sauvignon ($18/glass) sold at the restaurants throughout the month will be donated to the Leducq Foundation for cardiovascular research.

Additionally, Ehlers Estate and Mandarin Oriental, Miami are kicking off the celebration with a tasting party on Friday, February 11 at Azul Champagne Bar. A gift will be made to the Miami chapter of the American Heart Association. Guests will enjoy hors d’oeuvres paired with Sauvignon Blanc, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon “1886,” and a Cabernet Sauvignon blend called “One Twenty Over Eighty” – all crafted by Kevin Morrisey of Ehlers Estate.

Ehlers Estate raises money throughout the year for cardiovascular research around the world. Ehlers Estate is a unique winery because it is held in trust by the Leducq Foundation, a highly-regarded non-profit organization in Paris that supports international cardiovascular research. One hundred percent of the proceeds from the sale of Ehlers Estate wines goes back to the Leducq Foundation and funds this research.
