Make it a Sunday A’Fair in Old Town Scottsdale

The Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts will be hosting outdoor concerts in a months-long event dubbed the “Sunday A’Fair.” All concerts are free to attend and will feature a wide variety of local musicians, playing everything from rock and reggae to traditional Irish and American country, to blues and soul and just about everything in between.

Bring lawn chairs and blankets and camp out in the grass at the Civic Center Mall in Old Town Scottsdale, or stroll through the park, admiring the beautiful fountains and sculptures. On Sunday A’Fair days, admission to the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art will be free, and the Store at the Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts will be open, too — a great place to purchase off-the-beaten-path gifts, trinkets and baubles.

There will be hands-on art activities for the kids, and food and beverages will be available for purchase. Or, pack your own snacks, as picnic baskets will be welcome.

The Sunday A’Fair event will take place from 12 to 4 p.m. on the following Sundays: Jan. 9, 16, 23, 30; Feb. 13, 20, 27; March 6, 27; and April 3. Go online to see the (long!) list of participating musicians here.

Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts | The Scottsdale Civic Center Mall is located south of East First Avenue, between North Drinkwater Boulevard and North 75th Street, in Scottsdale.
