In celebration of La Cofradia’s five year anniversary, next weekend, the Coral Gables landmark invites guests to experience their traditional Peruvian cuisine. Hosted by internationally acclaimed cebiche guru and Peruvian Chef Javier Wong, the weekend kicks off on Thursday, Feb. 3 from 7 to 10 p.m. with an intimate cocktail reception where guests will sample hors d’oeuvres from the restaurant’s new menu along with complimentary cocktails courtesy of GREY GOOSE Vodka, Pisco O and Montes Alpha wine. Sponsored by LAN Airlines, the celebration will continue through the weekend from Feb. 4 – 6 as Chef Wong prepares his most celebrated dishes for La Cofradia patrons including the Lenguado/Flounder ceviche. In conjunction with Peru’s annual pisco celebration, guests will also indulge in La Cofradia’s delicious pisco drinks including the pisco chilcano and pisco maracuya.
