Haute Jewels: Fabergé Unveils Its Latest Collection

A new line of jewels is in store from the storied Faberge. The “Le Carnet de Bal” collection is all about a girl’s best friend: white diamonds.

The collection was made with banquets, balls and soirees in mind, aiming for the events that were the lifeblood of society in St Petersburg. Fall back into the extravagance of the upper crust in the early 20th century. The “Le Carnet de Bal” collection is named for a dance card, which was tiny, encased in silver. The booklet was used by ladies who would write down the names of partners for particular dances.

This is Fabergé’s first collection made exclusively of white diamonds. It combines the jewelry maker’s beautiful history of timeless heirlooms with a modern twist. The collection is reminiscent of classic motifs, like ribbon bows and fans.
