Grammy-award winning singer and songwriter John Legend celebrated his birthday with a dinner at Union Restaurant and Lounge followed by a performance at Haze Nightclub at Aria at CityCenter. Legend treated a packed house at Haze to a special set that included his hits “Green Light” and an intimate a capella version of “Ordinary People.”
Following the performance, Legend and girlfriend/supermodel Christine Teigen and guests headed to their VIP section where Legend was presented with a customized birthday cake in the shape of a piano, topped with an adoring picture of the couple. As Legend posed for pictures with his cake, Teigen gave him birthday kisses before the loving couple danced the night away to the sounds of Haze’s resident deejay.
Reality TV star Kristin Cavallari hosted her 24th birthday bash Sin City style at The Bank Nightclub at the Bellagio. Always the life of the party, the blonde and tanned hottie, who was recently featured in Elle magazine’s February 2011 issue, celebrated in true Vegas fashion, starting her party with afternoon drinks at Diablo’s Cantina at the Monte Carlo, followed by a dinner at Yellowtail Japanese Restaurant & Lounge, also at the Bellagio, before walking over to The Bank.
Cavallari, along with her girlfriends, entertained fellow party-goers dancing from their VIP table while toasting to being a year older with rounds of Champagne. With a special birthday shout out by the deejay, followed by a blue and orange decorated cake topped with a football in honor of boyfriend and Chicago Bear’s quarterback Jay Cutler, the crowd wished the starlet a happy birthday.
To end a evening, Cavallari’s face lit up as she was surprised with bouquet of flowers from Cutler, who was busy preparing for his defeat against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday.
