Haute Cocoa: the Cocoa Lounge Returns to Island Hotel

Chocoholics, beware! If you’re looking for a way to satisfy your chocolate urges, then the Island Hotel is the place to get your fix. From Feb. 4-26th, they’re celebrating with their famed Cocoa Lounge, where it’s definitely encouraged to have dessert before and after dinner.

Whether you missed out on the amazing Cocoa Lounge last year or you’ve been waiting for it’s return, you’ll be happy to know that Executive Pastry Chef Michael Owens will offer a variety of creations during February to satisfy even the biggest sweet tooth. The dessert buffet will be located at the Island Hotel’s Palm Terrace restaurant and include an array of choices like the banana chocolate mousse cake, white chocolate strawberry shortcake, triple chocolate cupcakes, double chocolate fudge s’mores, manjari obsession in chocolate cups, and lollipops, peanut caramels, port chocolates and coconut almond bars among others – served among amazing displays of chocolate statues and chocolate velour.

And here’s a haute secret: order a two- or more-course dinner at Palm Terrace Restaurant in  the month of February, Tuesday-Saturday, and receive complimentary entrance into the heavenly Cocoa Lounge instead of the $18 normal price. That’s one secret definitely worth keeping.
