Taco Asylum, the new kid on the block, definitely has the right stuff going. With a great opening soiree that drew foodies and the fashion set, you knew that there was something right about their formula of unusual tacos. But they’re only getting started. Their latest? An unbeatable happy hour that’ll offer their take on street tacos twice a day every weekday.
Taco Asylums I-II-III happy hour will offer $1 off tacos, $2 off canned beer and $3 off draught beer twice daily from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Specializing in non-traditional tacos and craft-made beers, Taco Asylum’s taco include a grilled octopus taco on a flour tortilla, ghost chili pork on flour tortillas, curried paneer on a naan tortilla and more. Also on offer is a flight of the entire 8-item menu, giving you a taste of everything for only $18. They offer a unique beer selection with only craft beer — six varieties on tap and 18 canned beers.
Taco Asylum is the creation of Executive Chef Greg Daniels, who’s also responsible for Haven Gastropub in Old Towne Orange, a restaurant known for global influence and an unparalleled selection of beer.
