2 Kierland Commons
So much more than a shopping center, Kierland Commons is a "lifestyle center," featuring 600,000 square feet of shops, restaurants, office space and upscale condominiums called The Plaza Lofts. 3 Scottsdale Quarter
The new kid on the block, the open-air Scottsdale Quarter is actually not yet fully completed. However, it's already established itself as one of the Valley's premier retail centers, with 600,000 square feet of space and some seriously great shops, including the Apple Store, Williams-Sonoma Home, West Elm, Nike, Giggle, Deegie's Carma, and a host of others that are set to open soon, such as Lululemon Athletica, Republic of Couture, Beach Bunny Swimwear, Te Boutique and more. The much-anticipated IPic Theatres will be opening at the Quarter on Dec. 17. 4 The Borgata
Designed in the style of a northern Italian village, the two-level, open-air Borgata has a charming Old World ambiance and European atmosphere, including tiled walkways, lamp posts, fountains and, in the evenings, elegant and even romantic lighting. The center courtyard is the site of many outdoor concerts and markets throughout the year, surrounded by an eclectic array of unique boutiques. 5 Biltmore Fashion Park
Loved for its wonderful balance of shopping space and green space, Biltmore Fashion Park is an open-air luxury retail area in the sophisticated Biltmore neighborhood of Phoenix, named so for the prominent Arizona Biltmore hotel which is close by. With more than 75 retailers on the property and more than 611,000 square feet of store space, this center is popular among notable residents who live in the area, such as Phoenix Suns players and major local business moguls.
