Impressions of Lanai: December 14-18

Tis the Season! Treat yourself to an outer-island getaway. It’s an ideal vacation for the art connoisseur, fund-raiser and Lanai lover. In celebration of its seventh anniversary, the Mike Carroll Gallery is honored to host a very special “Plein Air” (painting in ‘open air’) event, titled Impressions of Lana’i. From December 14th to the 18th, nine distinguished painters will fan out over Lana’i to capture our island’s beauty on canvas. From misty mornings at Koele, to sun-drenched days at Hulopo’e Bay, and the charming vintage buildings of Lana’i City… all will be beautifully captured by the painters. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled for the artists with their portable easels, and help all of us welcome them to Lana’i. If anything be sure to spend the night on Saturday. To cap things off, the artists’ reception and sale of works created throughout the week will be held at the Mike Carroll Gallery on December 18th from 6:00-9:00 PM. You are welcome to attend the show, meet the artists, and feast your eyes on their lovely paintings of Lana’i. A portion of the proceeds will go to two worthy community causes: The Lana’i Art Center and Lana’i Animal Rescue Center. Mahalos to art lovers everywhere, and to our event sponsors: Four Seasons Resort, Lana’i, The Lodge at Koele, Four Seasons Resort, Lana’i at Manele Bay, Hotel Lana’i, and the Lana’i City Grille.

Please Note: During this event, special rates for accommodations are being offered to art lovers by event sponsors. When calling to make reservations, please inform the agent that you are coming to Lana’i to watch the artists participating in the “Impressions of Lana’i” painting event:
