On Wednesday, Dec. 8, designers Ken Kaufman and Isaac Franco of the lavish fashion house KaufmanFranco hosted an intimate dinner in the private eighth floor library of the Soho Beach House. The design duo had been making a host of public appearances throughout the Miami area, including a glittering presentation at Saks Fifth Avenue in Bal Harbour earlier that day. The designers introduced pieces from their upcoming Spring 2011 collection, which, in true KaufmanFranco fashion, is both sleek and sophisticated.
Dinner guests included a small group of Miami’s top fashion insiders, artists and media personnel including KaufmanFranco’s Senior Vice President Suzanne Zikes and Director of Communications Michael Toccin, Haute Living’s Kamal Hotchandani and Jilian Sanz, photographer/philanthropist Iran Issa-Khan, interior designer Sam Robin, Walid and Susie Wahab, The Webster’s Director of Communications John Lin, designer Lisa Pliner, and TARA, Ink’s Tara Solomon, who looked stunning in a one-shoulder dress adorned with burnished gold chains from the new collection.
Missed their appearances? You can see the new KaufmanFranco collection in person. Stop by Saks Fifth Avenue in Bal Harbour to view the phenomenal wing-sleeved dress in a decadently blinding shade of metallic gold, which is currently proudly displayed in the store window.
