What Makes Her Haute Now: Thanks to Shakira’s strong belief in education, schools in both Colombia and Haiti will benefit from $660,000 donation by Freixenet, a Spanish cava drink company. Freixenet agreed to donate the funds if the songstress agreed to appear in a number of their advertisements. The Spanish cava drink company will also produce Shakira’s new single “Sale el Sol.” Being one of the most prominent women in the business, along with wearing many hats, it’s haute that Shakira manages to find time to give back to the community.
