Botti’s Back: Chris Botti Returns to the Orange County Performing Arts Center

Trumpet savant Chris Botti returns to the Orange County Performing Arts Center for a one-night concert event that will show audiences why he’s the master of genre-bending music. Garnering critical acclaim and legions of loyal fans, he’ll take the stage Jan. 8 and mesmerize in signature Botti style.

Formerly trumpeting for Sting, Chris Botti takes the stage solo to showcase his talents not only with the trumpet, but with composition and performance, too. Blending jazz, rock, pop and classical, he’s gained crossover success with his albums, PBS specials and stage performances nationwide. Botti has risen to new heights of popularity with his acclaimed albums Live in Boston, December and Italia. After past performances at the center, you can be sure this performance will be nothing short of spectacular.

Over the past three decades, he has recorded and performed with the many of music’s greatest artists, including Frank Sinatra, Sting, Josh Groban, Michael Bublé, Paul Simon, Joni Mitchell, John Mayer, Andrea Bocelli, Joshua Bell and Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler.

Hitting the road for over 250 days per year, Botti and his band have performed with many of the world’s finest symphonies at music’s most prestigious venues, including the World Series and Nobel Peace Prize Ceremony.

The Orange County Performing Arts Center is located at 600 Town Center Dr., in Costa Mesa. For more information on Chris Botti, visit his official web site at www.chrisbotti.com. For tickets and more information about OCPAC, call 714.556.2787 or visit www.ocpac.org.
