Tis the season to give the gift of love and a good home! Everyone loves a soft, cuddly, loving dog and what better time of year than the holidays to gift yourself or a loved one with the lifetime companionship of a canine. From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. this Saturday, November 13, the Atlanta Humane Society will host a pet adoption party to ensure that all of Atlanta’s pups have a safe and loving home to reside in. No need to stop at just one; bring as many furry friends home as you can handle!
Located at the AltoRex Rooftop Lounge, guests will dine on $5 lunches prepared by local Chef Keira who is guaranteed to cook up extremely tasty dishes that will curb your hunger and tempt you for seconds. Hot cocoa and apple cider will also be available for the sometimes chilly temperatures occurring this time of year. All proceeds from food and drink sales will directly benefit AHS. There will also be fun activities and plenty of time for you to spend quality time with your potential new member of the family.
Keeping the well-being of the dogs a top priority, there will be specialty doggie treats on hand that are sure to be a hit with the pups. For those who are already pet owners, feel free to bring them to this event, as it is a perfect time to get them used to AHS dogs that could very well be a new addition to the family. Fun is sure to be had by all, don’t miss out on all the excitement!
