Haute Event: James Franco Attends “127 Hours” Premiere Party

On Tuesday, Nov. 2, a sharply dressed James Franco arrived at The Bunker in New York City for the premiere party of his new film 127 Hours. The film is a drama thriller that is based off of the true story of Aron Ralston, a mountain climber who was trapped in a canyon by a boulder in Utah for almost five days. The real-live Ralston was joined by his character-portrayor Franco at the premiere.

Guests enjoyed Svedka Vodka specialty cocktails while mingling with the film’s writer, director and producer Danny Boyle, as well as Elizabeth Banks, Susan Sarandon, Top Chef’s Padma Lakshmi, Gossip Girl’s Matthew Settle, model Agyness Deyn and Rachel Zoe Project’s Brad Goreski.

127 Hours opens tomorrow, Nov. 5, in select theaters.
