What Made Him Haute: Long gone are the days of Marky Mark. Today, he is co-executive producer for the HBO television series Entourage, which is in its seventh season, and the buzzed about Boardwalk Empire, a TV series set in Atlantic City during Prohibition. The Other Guys, which launched in early August, is Walhberg’s first comedy, not counting his stint with Andy Sandberg on Saturday Night Live this past season.

What Makes Him Haute: Mark Wahlberg made an appearance at the launch of Kinect for Xbox 360 this past Wednesday in support of Microsoft’s donation of the consoles and games to thousands of Boys & Girls Clubs around the country. Although he’s always up for a good time, his decision to show up to the event was fueled for his support of the Boys & Girls Club, which he credits for much of his own personal success after having spent most of his afternoons and evenings at his own local club.

Kinect for Xbox 360 works with a sensor that enables gamers to let go of any controllers and play games with the use of their bodies. It works a lot like the Wii, except the movement of every single limb is important in the success of the gamer, which means a lot more exercise for the children who, once upon a time, would not get off the couch.
