DiCaprio went from America’s heartthrob to America’s smartest and most versatile actor, starring in Shutter Island and Inception this year—two movies we still can’t stop talking about.

“Legacy of a Secrecy” is an adaptation of the book which examines FBI informant Jack Van Laningham relationship with the southern mafia leader Carlos Marcello, whom the book points out as a potential mastermind behind the 1963 murder (and who reportedly even confessed taking part in the murder.) The film is rumored to be released in 2013.
