Dori’s World: Promise Ball and Marissa Sackler’s 30th Birthday Party

On Saturday night, Natasha and Tom Silver hosted the 38th annual Promise Ball for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. The humanitarian award was giving to WSBS-TV, which was presented by Mary Tyler Moore. The award of distinction went to the Gerber family in memory of Jordy Gerber.

For the second part of my Saturday night, I was off to Marissa Sackler’s 30th “Cirque de Sac” black tie birthday party. She turned a warehouse into a beautiful circus-themed extravaganza with the help of Bronson Van Wyck. When we arrived there were clowns walking around on stilts, dancers and tarot card readers. Then the dining room opened up to an unbelievable dinner, with dancers coming out of bath tubs! At the party was Lauren and Andres Santo Domingo, Jamie Diner, Stavros Livanos, Phil and Devon Radziwill, Serena Nikkhah, Carolina Gonzales-Bunster, John Mason, Jason Pomeranc and Amanda and Doug Wurtz. People traveled in from London, Greece and all over the world to come in for this fabulous event.
