Dine with Top Chefs During the Food & Wine All-Star Weekend

Get to rub elbows with the cheftestants of Bravo’s “Top Chef” while dining on culinary delights during the inaugural Food & Wine All-Star Weekend at Bellagio and Aria and Vdara at CityCenter Nov. 5-7. Gail Simmons, the special projects manager at Food & Wine, hosts the weekend.

The celebrity chef-filled weekend will include events featuring Bravo’s “Top Chef” cheftestants Fabio Viviani, Carla Hall, Jennifer Carroll, Hosea Rosenberg and Stephen Hopcraft, “Top Chef” Masters Rick Moonen and Hubert Keller and Food & Wine Best New Chef Vinny Dotolo.

On Friday, the event kicks off with a party hosted by Gail Simmons, Anthony Giglio and Fabio Viviani at Bar Vdara, featuring a star-studded lineup of celebrity chefs and “Top Chef” alumni and music from DJ Bree Cohen aka DJ88. The event runs from 8 to 10 p.m.

Afterward, Deuce After Dark takes over Aria’s Deuce Lounge from 10 p.m. to midnight. Gail Simmons, chefs Shawn McClain, Julian Serrano, Rick Moonen, Jean-Philippe Maury, Fabio Viviani, Carla Hall, Jennifer Carroll, Hosea Rosenberg, Vinny Dotolo and Stephen Hopcraft each host their own blackjack tables.

Sleep in on Saturday and then head over to the Luxe Lunch from noon to 2 p.m. Enjoy a three-course lunch prepared before them by Bellagio chefs Marc St. Jacques of Michael Mina and Pastry Chef Philippe Angibeau of Le Cirque as well as “Top Chef” fan favorite Fabio Viviani.  The lunch is hosted at Bellagio’s Tuscany Kitchen by Gail Simmons and Bellagio Director of Wine Jason Smith, who will pair each course with a complementary wine.

Head back to Cafe Vettro at Aria from 4:30 to 5:15 p.m. as Food & Wine Contributing Editor and Wine Expert Anthony Giglio will host a cocktail seminar featuring fare from award-winning Bellagio and Aria Chef Julian Serrano.

On Saturday evening from 8 to 10 p.m., dine at the All-Star Tasting poolside at Aria featuring Bravo’s “Top Chef” contestants and showcasing the signature restaurants of Aria. Look for dishes from Jean Georges Steakhouse, American Fish, Sirio Ristorante, Julian Serrano, Bar Masa and Sage. Many of ARIA’s award-winning chefs and restaurateurs will be in attendance including Masa Takayama, Shawn McClain, Jean-Philippe Maury and Sirio Maccioni.

On Sunday, relax with the Champagne & Caviar Brunch set against the backdrop of the breathtaking Fountains of Bellagio, featuring guest host Anthony Giglio, who will present a specialty bloody Mary bar, and Fabio Viviani, who will put a modern spin on the classic egg sandwich.
