3 Places to Celebrate Thanksgiving Without Cooking

Inside at Cecconi's

Some people relish cooking up the turkey, the stuffing, the pumpkin pie, (ick) etc. This year, I am not the chef. I am the recipient, and there are plenty of places in Los Angeles where you can get your turkey groove on, and not have to lift a finger in the kitchen – what’s more, if you’re so inclined, you can 86 the family quotient too.

Here are my top 3 variegated picks:
ON THE WATER
THANKSGIVING BRUNCH ON THE QUEEN MARY

As long as you don’t get seasick (the boat is docked, by the way) you can pretend you’re aboard the Titanic (well, maybe not) but something just as grand as the Queen Mary serves up Thanksgiving goodies from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at $49.95 for adults, half-price for children 5-11, under 5 free. Sir Winston’s, The Chelsea and The Promenade Cafe on the Queen Mary will also offer Thanksgiving day menus from $18.95 to $55, with options from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.
