Watch out: Diego Maradona and John Travolta Launching Swiss Watches in Moscow

Two world’s famous celebrities Diego Maradona and John Travolta have arrived to Russian capital at the same time to promote luxury brand watches.

Argentinian football legend Diego Maradona came to Russia to fulfill a sponsorship contract with Hublot brand, which presented him limited-edition Hublot Maradona watches. He also took part in the fundraiser organized by famous Swiss watchmakers and raised $500,000 in a charity shoot-out on the roof of Moscow’s biggest department stores TSUM. The money will be donated to the Raisa Gorbachev Foundation, an organization committed to combating childhood cancer. At the end of the action, the prominent footballer spoke to reporters. “I gladly accepted the invitation to come, I like Moscow. It is a beautiful city. I really wanted to win more money because I understand the need of sick children. They are our future, and I am really happy to help them. I hope I brought them so luck,” said Maradona.

Meanwhile Hollywood actor John Travolta arrived to Moscow in order to act as ambassador for Breitling aviation watch. Travolta flew his own private jet Boeing 707 and was accompanied by his two sisters and daughter Ella. It is not his first visit to Russia. A few years ago, the “Saturday Night Fever” star visited our country as a tourist. This time he came on business to launch a new model of Breitling’s iconic Navitimer watches.
