Montres Corum Miss Golden Bridge Watch Named Women’s Watch of The Year

On Tuesday, Oct. 19, Montres Passion Magazine named the Miss Golden Bridge watch with the women’s watch of the year 2010 and overall third prize of the jury. Before a panel of 500 people, Antonio Calce, CEO of Corum, received the double award for the Miss Golden Bridge timepiece.
“This prize pays tribute to Corum’s 160 employees, its partners and suppliers, who contribute to the evolution of the brand and its timepieces all around the world. It is recognition of our know-how in the feminine universe of high horology and a strong message for Corum, who forms its creations in a long term strategy”.

Created in 1993 by Swiss magazine Montres Passion, the Prize Watch of the Year is awarded to the best watchmaking creations of the year. To be designated among a selection of 40 hand-picked watches, which already result from a preliminary selection of more than 100 novelties, the models must meet a number of criteria including a “Swiss Made” label, price, and launch date on the Swiss market. The award is considered the gold standard in the watchmaking industry.

The prize comes 30 years after the watch’s debut, speaking volumes to the Miss Golden Bridge model’s historical and present day style relevance. The win also cements Corum ‘s place in the women’s high-end watchmaking world.
