Haute Event: Taste of the Biltmore at National Bank of Arizona

On Thursday, Oct. 7, Valley residents turned out for the largest annual culinary block party in Phoenix, the invitation-only Taste of the Biltmore. Held on the front lawn of National Bank of Arizona’s corporate headquarters, located near the city’s financial district, the evening was one filled with live music, socializing among neighbors and culinary delights.

Thursday evening, under a clear Arizona sky, Taste of the Biltmore attendees enjoyed live jazz by Laura Fial & Friends and the opportunity to sample specialties by 14 of the Biltmore area’s premier restaurants, including Aiello’s, Donovan’s Steakhouse, Hava Java, Houston’s, McCormick & Schmicks, Omaha Steakhouse, Ruth Chris, Mojo Yogurt, Seasons 52, Frank & Albert’s, The Wrigley Mansion, Bluewater Grille, The Melting Pot and Adobe Restaurant.

Party-goers were also invited to purchase GivingBands for $15 each for the launch of We Are The Valley, a joint-fundraising program to benefit 11 local charities. Each GivingBand is made from recycled pewter, assembled by Arizona residents with disabilities, and features a charm with the logo of a participating charity. Visit the We Are The Valley online to learn more about each of the charities and learn how you can contribute.
