Haute Event: Penn & Teller Celebrate 10 Years with a Halloween Party

On Tuesday, Penn & Teller, known as “The Bad Boys of Magic,” celebrated with a Halloween party to mark their upcoming 10-year anniversary and three-year contract extension running through 2013.

At the end of the Penn & Teller show, Jeff Solomon, assistant general manager of the Rio, and Michael Weaver, vice president of marketing for Harrah’s Las Vegas region, surprised the comedy-magic duo with a classic 10th anniversary gift of aluminum tin, gifting them with their own Penn & Teller-branded metal lunchboxes filled with their favorite treats — peanut brittle (Penn) and chocolate covered strawberries (Teller).

Following the show guests partied in the lush Palazzo suites at the Rio that were transformed into Penn & Teller’s haunted mansion.
