Company: Keller Estate Winery and Vineyard

Industry: Wine

What Made Him Haute: This noted Mexican antique auto collector first purchased a plot of land in Sonoma to build a large showroom for his vintage and classic race cars. At the suggestion of some neighbors, he planted a vineyard for aesthetic sake, and founded Keller Estate Winery and Vineyards. His passion for cars continues, though, and his collection of pristine prewar Mercedes-Benzes has received numerous accolades at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.

What Makes Him Haute Now: On the tour to the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance 2010, Arturo Keller and his wife Deborah treated those traveling with them to a glimpse of the latest addition of their automobile collection. The group made a stop in Petaluma, Calif., to eat dinner on the Kellers’ property. There they were greeted with the surprise of a new wing that Keller had added to his collection, a new French assembly of Gallic classics that Keller has been working on obtaining for quite some time. His hard work has paid off because the collection was proclaimed exquisite by all those who had a chance to preview it.
