ECOlution 2010

Atlanta is in for a treat this Thursday night October 14 at Mason Murer Fine Art, as all of the city’s most fashionable and biggest charity supporters will be on hand to attend ECOlution 2010. With such emphasis and dire need being placed on going green and helping conserve and restore our planet, it is great to know that events like this exist to ensure that the necessary steps are taken. Combing an eco-friendly runway fashion, music and recycling done in the most fabulous way possible, guests can expect to be informed of the issues and enjoy themselves in the process.

Popular DJ Melissa Carter of Q100’s The Bert Show founded the ECOlution event to fund her own charity the Melissa Carter Transplant Fund at Piedmont Hospital. In addition to her foundation, proceeds will also benefit the Georgia Transplant Foundation. While the theme of the night is about helping our planet, the most important issue is that the proceeds will help patients receive life-changing surgery that are in desperate need of kidney, heart, liver and lung transplants.

Kicking off at 7 p.m., the evening will feature a traditional runway fashion show highlighting eco-friendly designs and designers. Great music will also be available to coerce attendees to get up out of their seats and fully enjoy the evening’s festivities. A variety of cocktails and hors de oeuvres will be served throughout the event. Tickets are $30, but if you would like a special commemorative T-shirt the price is $50. Also VIP tickets are priced at $50 and VIP tickets and tee are $70.

Mason Murer Fine Art is located at 199 Armour Dr. NW. For more information visit http://www.gatransplant.org/Events/EventInfo.aspx?ContentID=573
