Max’s uncle discovered Gianni Versace and his father and older brother worked closely with men’s fashion in Italy especially with designers such Enrico Coveri, Marithé François Girbaud, Franco Moschino, and Valentino Garavani.
Max thus grew up in a world full of creativity and love for fashion. He often used his family business as a way to test his designs and inspirations for menswear. After many years of working in the family business, he and his younger brother Roberto decided to launch their own company dedicated entirely to the tailoring of men’s suits. Duca Sartoria was born.
