Dream a Little Beach Dream

Beachfront property is a major boon and frankly, the reason to reside in Los Angeles, if you ask me. Trouble is, peeps who live on the beach rarely move once they settled in. Believe me—I’ve been house hunting for weeks and so far—nil.

I currently live one block from the beach in Venice, but I’ve trying to get even closer. I want to be able to leap out my back door onto the warm sands each morning and I want to be lulled to sleep by the crashing of the waves at night.

And then, today on Redfin, I saw it. The ultimate Malibu abode. And the best part? It’s nestled right on PCH, on sixty feet of prime carbon beach. Yes!

Built in 1990, the light and airy 4 bedroom/5 bath ocean-front home is crafted with high-ceilings and a skylight. The bibliophile in me was stoked to learn that the home also boasts a gigantic library, as well as a stunning kitchen and a gigantic master bedroom with a luxurious master bath.

And, did I mention the views? Apparently you can see Queen’s Necklace, Catalina and of course, Malibu Beach from the bedroom. Which more than satisfies the surfer girl in me.

After all, the home may cost 13,900,000 but as far as I’m concerned those views, as well as 24-hour beach access, are priceless.
