I have yet to meet someone who does not like pizza. That, is, someone who doesn’t like good pizza. There are a lot of restaurants that claim to be the best…there’s even a place here called “Miami’s Best Pizza,” which makes finding great pizza a challenge. So we’ve put together a list of the top five pizza places in Miami. Sometimes it’s the places that you’d least expect are the most satisfying to your taste buds.

1 Andiamo

Andiamo is Italian for “Let’s Go,” which is very fitting for this Miami favorite, known for serving the best brick oven pizza in the city. Choose from more than 25 variations of thin crust pizzas in 10-inch, 14-inch, and 16-inch pies. Try the “Brooklyn Special,” or the “Godfather” for Andiamos’ signature topping combinations.

Open every day 11 a.m to 11 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays to midnight.

600 Biscayne Blvd., Miami, 305.762.5751,

2 Sosta Pizzeria

This upscale pizzeria is brought to you by KNR Restaurant Group, the same owners of Quattro Grastronomia Italiana, Mokai Lounge, and the new Solea at the W Hotel. Located in the heart of South Beach, this trendy place isn’t just the perfect atmosphere, it also boasts the most impressive pizza menu on all of Lincoln Road.

Open daily, noon to midnight.

1025 Lincoln Road, Miami Beach, 305.722.5454,

3 Blú: La Pizzeria Del Sole

This quaint pizzeria is located right next door to its sister restaurant, Sole Trattoria, both of which have been locally owned for 10 years. “La Pizzeria Del Sole” (translation: The Pizzeria of the Sun) features an unmatched selection of delicious thin-crust pizzas that are made with the highest quality, natural ingredients. We recommend you ask for their imported fresh mozzarella on your pizza, or order their special Blú-es stuffed pizza creations.

Open every day noon to 11 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays noon to 11:30 p.m.

7201 SW 59th Ave., South Miami, 305.666.9285,

4 Two Brothers Pizzeria

If you’re searching for the most authentic New York-style pizza-by-the-slice, then Two Brothers Pizzeria should definitely be on your radar. And though it's located on the outskirts of the modest Kendall Town & Country strip mall, we’ll discount the façade of this pizza joint just for a slice of their divine pies.

Open every day 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.

8424 Mills Drive, Miami, 305.595.7559.

5 Spris

This Miami favorite has been awarded “Best Gourmet Pizza” by the SunPost for four consecutive years. Stop by their hopping Lincoln Road location after a long day at the beach, or enjoy a quiet evening out at their sophisticated Coral Gables location. Either way, you’ll be treated to some of the pizza around.

Miami Beach location open every day noon to 1 a.m., Fridays and Saturdays noon to 2 a.m.

Coral Gables location open every day 11:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays 11:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.

2305 Ponce de Leon Blvd., Coral Gables, 305.444.3388, and 731 Lincoln Road, Miami Beach, 305.673.2020,
