Abu Dhabi Art Returns for its Second Edition

The Abu Dhabi Art fair returns for its second edition from November 4th through 7th at the Emirates Palace. Following the successful first edition under the patronage of His Highness General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, TDIC ( Tourism Development & Investment Company) and ADACH (Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage) the Abu Dhabi Art fair returns prompting international gallerists, dealers, artists, critics and everyone with a passion for art and design to the Emirates Palace Hotel from November 4th through 7th.

For four days attendees have the opportunity to visit some of the most influential galleries on the international art market including such names as the Gagosian Gallery, London’s White Cube, Haunch of Venison, Opera Gallery, Gallery Thaddaeus Ropac, David Zwirner and some of the Middle East’s most renowned art galleries. The event is a chance to discover the spectrum of the international art scene as well as familiarize with Middle Eastern contemporary art.

Abu Dhabi Art also  aims to enrich the cultural life for Emiratis by exposing them to esteemed regional and international artists.  This year’s program includes “Signature”, a section dedicated to innovative and challenging contemporary works by emerging international artists in a one person show and “Beyond” which features a selection of outdoor installations. The event will also highlight various lectures, workshops, panels, performances and film screenings by leading artists and figures from the international art world and the Middle East. Abu Dhabi Art is a unique art event and an opportunity to witness how East meets West through artistic exchange and dialogue.

Abu Dhabi Art is open to the public from November 4th- 7th from 3-10pm daily

The opening reception will be held on November 3rd and is by invitation only.
