Steak It Up with Allen Brothers

An Allen Brothers Burger

New York City is known for fabulous steaks, but sometimes you don’t want to leave the comfort of your home to get them.

Allen Brothers, the butcher shop that brings steaks to fine dining restaurants across the nation, is now making it easier than ever for New Yorkers to have their steak and eat it too.

You can pick from their flavorful cuts ranging from ribeye to porterhouse, wet-aged or dry-aged and have it delivered right to your doorman. The company has recently teamed up with our favorite outspoken chef, Emeril Lagasse, to release a line of Red Marble Steaks which are hand-cut, hand-picked and aged.

If you want to sit down for some swanky skirt steak, you can get them packaged up with chipotle mashed sweet potatoes and chimichurri sauce to top your steak.

And if you want to get in some last minute grilling before the summer comes to a close, you can get a package like “thrill on the grill” that comes with two filets, two strip steaks and eight steak burgers all set to barbecue.

If you do want to venture out to try their steaks, Allen Brothers is hosting a “RED dinner” during the NY Wine and Food Festival on Friday, Oct. 8, at the Standard Grill at the Standard Hotel in the Meatpacking District. Chef Dan Silverman will be serving up the juiciest cuts of red meat from Allen Brothers, as well as red fish and to wash it down? You guessed it, red wines.
