Haute Secrets Los Angeles: Heather Roop

A true Georgia peach living in Los Angeles, Heather Roop is happy to call the City of Angels her home-away-from-home. The talented actress first moved to LA after graduating from college, and has since taken her passions for singing and dancing on the road, performing in numerous musical theater tours, including Camelot with Robert Goulet and South Pacific with John Cullum. Soon after moving to Los Angeles, Roop landed the role of Jamie in Fred Parnes’ A Man in Mostly Water starring Bill Pullman, Chris Rydell, and Mark Curry. Following a terse presence in New York, Roop returned to L.A. where she worked with the cast and crew in The Hangover. She recently finished shooting the Michael Winnick film, Guns, Girls and Gambling starring Christian Slater, Gary Oldman and Dane Cook and look for Roop as the lead role in the upcoming independent feature, The Dark Cabin.

Why she loves Los Angeles: The weather is fantastic. You can Rollerblade, bike on the boardwalk and have a day at the beach. Its beautiful scenic mountains are perfect for hiking; the ride up the PCH is stunning; and LA is so close to wine country in Santa Barbara. You can really create a very healthy, active, and relaxing lifestyle here if you choose!
