Get Ready for the Chocolate Craze at the Grand Hyatt, Dubai

Chocolate, just hearing the word makes our mouth water and our mind conjure up lovely warm images of the divine treat. In perfect timing for the close of Ramadan, star pastry chef Anil Rahira has arrived at the Grand Hyatt in Dubai to reveal to guests the secrets of chocolate making.

Rohira has arrived from Felchlin, Switzerland, one of Switzerland’s premiere chocolate producers as well as one of the most reputable names in the industry employing only chefs of high-caliber. Specializing in pastries and desserts, Chef Rohira has held the post of executive chef in numerous restaurants all over the world and has even been named one of the top best pastry chefs in the United States (where he currently resides) as well as Pastry Chef of the Year in 2009.

“‘I’ve been working with chocolate for 20 years and its different dimensions still amaze me,” he said at the Grand Hyatt in a recent interview with the Khaleej Times.

Anil Rohira’s chocolate can be fully enjoyed this week at the Grand Hyatt with a number of exciting culinary events. Tonight at the restaurant Panini a live demonstration will be held from 7-8:30. On the 18th the Al Nakheel loby lounge will host an extravagant chocolate buffet with unlimited chocolate as well as the presence of Rohira from 4-7pm for 90 AED per person.
