Eat, drink and be merry! Bon Appétit Magazine partnered with Belvedere Vodka to host a summer series of three invite-only Curators of Taste dinners. One stop in the series of events to pair exquisite food and drinks with great company landed in San Francisco on June 24. The Curators of Taste dinner was co-hosted by Bon Appétit Magazine Editor-in-Chief Barbara Fairchild and Belvedere’s master distiller and mixologist Claire Smith. This night to remember was held at world renowned Chef Hubert Keller’s exclusive restaurant, Fleur de Lys.
The guest list was filled with star chefs Traci De Jardins, Bradley Ogden, Elizabeth Falkner, and Bruce Aidells accompanied by authors Michael Chabon, Ayelet Waldman, Tom Corwin and tastemakers Alexis Traina and Allison Speer.
To start the evening off, Smith shook up her signature couture cocktails for guests to enjoy. Meanwhile, Keller prepared an exquisite meal consisting of chilled Dungeness crab salad, Hawaiian swordfish and filet mignon with lobster macaroni and cheese followed by a rich chocolate-praline parfait. Accompanying each of these mouth-watering dishes was a smooth Belvedere vodka based cocktail. An elegant cuisine and premium cocktails provided a memorable evening for all.
