What Makes Them Haute Now: Haute Living Real Estate Network members Jills Eber and Hertzberg are surveying the most luxurious residential areas in Miami appropriate for its newest superstar inhabitants, LeBron James and Chris Bosh of the Miami Heat. The Jills found a house on Star Island for former Heat player Shaquille O’Neal so they know what basketball players expect. “They want things done; true turnkey in perfect condition so they can focus their energy on other things, like winning!” said Hertzberg. Other important attributes include high ceilings and tall doorways, for obvious reasons. Their top location picks include oceanfront homes on Golden Beach, Sunset Island gated community, deluxe waterfront houses on Palm Island, and the exclusive Indian Creek Island. The prices of the speculative homes range from $12.5 to $18.5 million, though houses on Indian Creek Island can go up to $60 million. We’ll have to wait and see which dream homes the Dream Team players will choose, but we can be sure the abode will be fit for a “king.”
