Where Are They Now? Chicago Top Chef Update

Recognized as a global foodie haven, it’s no wonder Chicago culinary masters have represented so well for us on Bravo’s Top Chef. And let’s face it, these newly crowned celebrity chefs have developed a cult following around the city. Here’s an update on what some of your favs have been up to and their cool new projects (even though we know you already stalk their twitter accounts).

Graham Elliot Bowles

Appearing on Seasons 1 and 2 of Top Chef Masters, Bowles has been working on his second Chicago restaurant, Grahamwich. He is also making an appearance at Lollapalooza this year (August 6-8) as a culinary ambassador in the food court and catering to the headliners.

Stephanie Izard

Winner of Top Chef Chicago and two years in the making, Stephanie’s new restaurant, the Girl and the Goat finally opened in West Loop last month. From brewing her own wine to making her own sausages, this is one French fusion spot that was well worth the wait.

Rick Bayless

Winner of Top Chef Masters Season 1, we are sad to report that Rick, a Chicago legend, is splitting his time bi-coastal on a new LA project. A consulting chef at the newly opened RED O, Frontera flavors are hitting the Hollywood scene

Winner of Top Chef Masters season 2, Samuelsson, the Executive Chef of C-House has been focusing on events and philanthropy. Hosting his second annual Drink Dine & Dish and lecturing on how to save the Gulf, this is one Chef who we can support.
