More Than 40 Restaurants to Take Part in Taste of the Nation in Miami

Contrary to popular belief, there are people in Miami who do, in fact, eat. In honor of this unscientifically proven information, South Florida’s finest are encouraged to dig in on July 29 with Share Our Strength’s Taste of the Nation, a fund-raising effort to help raise money to end childhood hunger in America. The event, which will be held at Aventura’s Fairmont Turnberry Isle, will include an array of cuisine from more than 40 of Miami’s best chefs, as well as wines, champagnes and spirits, live music, and fabulous silent and live auction items.

Chef Chair Andre Bienvenu (Joe’s Stone Crab) and Event Chair Chef Allen Susser (Chef Allen’s; Taste Gastropub) invite you to be part of the delectable celebration. Hosting the event will be TV anchor Laurie Jennings.

Among the participating restaurants are: Essensia Restaurant and Lounge; Meat Market; Red, The Steakhouse; Sugarcane Raw Bar Grill; and SushiSamba Dromo, to name just a few.

General admission tickets are priced at $95 each, and VIP tickets, which, among other bonuses, include admission to a Champagne reception before the main event, are priced at $195 each. VIP admission, 6 p.m. General admission, 7 p.m.
