Lenny Kravitz At Mondrian Over The Weekend

While his music may have fallen off the radar screen, Lenny Kravitz is still the social butterfly we know and love here in the Magic City. We spotted the hunky musician over the weekend eating dinner at Asia De Cuba at the always funky Mondrian. Kravitz chowed with three friends and ordered family style off the menu which features an innovative fusion of Asian and Latin flavors. We’re not exactly sure what he ordered, however, our favorite picks include the Calamari Salad Asia de Cuba with crispy calamari, chayote, hearts of palm, banana, cashews, chicory and radicchio in a sesame orange dressing; Cuban Spiced Chicken with Thai coconut sticky rice and avocado fruit salsa served with tamarind sauce; Char Sui Beef Short Ribs with congre tostones and chili orange mango; and Pan Seared Ahi Tuna served rare with crunchy wasabi mashed potatoes and cilantro chimichurri sauce.

After dinner, Lenny made a quick walk through Sunset Lounge, the indoor/outdoor lounge that serves as a fabulous bay side destination for watching the sunset over Miami’s downtown skyline. The jams were pumping as guests enjoyed handcrafted specialty cocktails with infused Cachaças and flavored Caipirinhas made from exotic and local ingredients.
