Actor turned artist Andrew Levitas shared his artistic talents with East Enders this past weekend in the Hamptons showing his “Metalwork” at Mark Borghi Fine Art in Bridgehampton.
The images, all taken in Sagaponick and elsewhere on the East End, are aluminum. The process involves the transferring of photographs into transparencies that are in turn melted onto the hand-detailed sheets combining the imagery in a photo with the presence of a sculpture.
Levitas’ work has been well-received and he’ll also be making an appearance at next weekend’s Art Hampton, signing autographs. The exhibit, at Mark Borghi Fine Art, will run through July.
