Fight Night: UFC Fighters Get Their Pre-Party on at Studio 54 at MGM Grand

UFC fighters converged on Studio 54 at the MGM Grand last night to celebrate UFC 116 tonight at the Garden Arena. Silver Star Casting Co. hosted the official pre-fight party with fighters. The tight-knit family of fighters flocked to the legendary Vegas hotspot to party until the sun came up.

Hundreds of fans gathered outside the club to shoot photos of their fighters, including Melvin Guillard, Diego Sanchez, Frank Trigg, Jamie Yager, Clay Guida and Travis Browne.

The crowd cheered wildly as the fighters swarmed the red carpet, which looked more like a reunion than a photo opp. The friendly fighters joked and chatted like old friends while photographers snapped dozens of playful pictures. Frank Trigg tried out his best GQ impression while Melvin Guillard and Jamie Yager were so full of energy they could barely hold still. Clay Guida, Travis Browne and Diego Sanchez proved loyalty to the Silver Star brand when both arrived sporting Silver Star T-shirts.

Joining the band of fighters were comedians Joe Rogan and Doug Benson. Rogan took the carpet by storm with his surprise visit following his tour stop at Mandalay Bay’s House of Blues earlier that night. “Veteran Voice of the Octagon” Bruce Buffer had twice the reason to celebrate following the opening of his poker room at the Luxor. Silver Star owners Luke Burrett and Charis Boyle of Playboy fame played host to the star-studded event. Boyle tantalized onlookers with her unbuttoned down-to-there plaid shirt and pleated white mini-skirt.

Moving the party inside the famed Studio 54, the UFC entourage enjoyed the exclusive VIP lounge overlooking the energetic party scene. Sexy partygoers below danced the night away to hits like Jay Z’s “Empire State of Mind” spun by DJ Loczi.
