“Navigating The Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance” in the New Issue of Haute Living San Francisco

Arguably the most prestigious auto show in the world, the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance is a can’t miss for car enthusiasts. Even for those who can’t tell a Mustang from a Ferrari, the Concours will undoubtedly ignite an inner appreciation for the automobile world. From Wednesday, August 11 to Sunday, August 15, guests can revel in historic car exhibitions, races, and the newest concept cars all while being surrounded by breathtaking ocean and golf course views. Last year, we covered the event in detail after the fact, but this year, we’ve prepared in advance “Navigating the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance,” where we give you an inside look into the upcoming auto extravaganza.

The Concours d’Elegance itself will take place on Sunday, August 15, which will celebrate the 75th Anniversary of Jaguar, the centennial of Alfa Romeo, and a welcome back to Hot Rods. The article also details Pebble Beach Tour d’Elegance (Thursday August 12), The Quail Motorsports Gathering (Friday, August 13), and the annual Gooding and Company auction (Saturday, August 14 and Sunday, August 15), which will auction off some of the best preserved antiques and restored classic cars in the world.

Plus, we put together a list of some of Monterey Peninsula’s hautest hotels, restaurants, shopping, wineries, golf courses, and even art galleries to ensure that you maximize your Pebble Beach experience. Hotels featured include the luxurious Bernardus Lodge (415 W. Carmel Vally Rd.; 831.659.3131) and the historic L’Auberge Carmel (Monte Verde St. at 7th Ave.; 831.624.8578). We also reveal Carmel’s best kept secret, the new Dametra Café (SE corner of Ocean & Lincoln; 831.624.2600), in addition to a special wining and dining experience at Chateau Julien Wine Estate (8490 Carmel Valley Rd.; 831.624.2600).
