Atlanta Cocktail Hour: Buckhead Bottle Bar Opens

This new Buckhead all-day cocktail and bar and food spot opened Thursday night with a party to introduce the Atlanta elite to the newest concept in the bar and dining scene. And anything developed by young restaurateur, A.D. Allushi, of ADI concepts is guaranteed to have the finest available.  The concept for Buckhead Bottle Bar where people can drink, eat and stay all night was created as a group effort between Allushi, Chef Ian Winslade (formerly of Spice Market) and Atlanta Hawk Zaza Pachulia.

Winslade developed a menu consisting of small bites, salad bites and bigger bites. I am excited to try the cheese and crab fritters, and I could definitely go for the white wine muscles and French fries. The drink menu, created by Allushi, is arguably one of the finest in the city.  It is perfectly edited and spans across all different areas. As with the food menu, the drink menu starts off with red and white wines grouped into good, better and best. And as for the cocktails, I am a little too excited for the offerings. As I am looking at the choices, I am starting to stress about which drink I want to order first.  In honor of my state, I will have to try the White Peach Cosmo. And along with the “on the rocks” choices,  there is a carefully edited list of bottled and on tap beers.  They also have Mango Bellini Flutes and a Burning Mandarin Flute: Cava, Hangar One, Mandarin Vodka, maraschino cherry liquor and spicy mandarin nectar. Shall I go on?

So if you haven’t noticed I am a little excited about this new all-day food and drink spot. I am really sad I had to miss the grand opening party Thursday night, but I will be headed over there shortly to see what I missed. See you there. Cheers!
