One thing Las Vegas has few of — celebrity-owned venues. But slip over to Crystals at CityCenter and you can hang out at Eva Longoria Parker’s Eve Nightclub and Beso Latin steakhouse. Parker, who plays the vixen Gabrielle Solis on Desperate Housewives and is married to San Antonio Spurs star Tony Parker, makes appearances on occasion.
Beso, Spanish for kiss, combines Longoria Parker’s Latin heritage and her passion for cooking with the culinary talents of Todd English. The menu features tender cuts of aged beef and an assortment of ceviche selections.
The interior in deep chocolate browns and rich gold finishes has splashes of red and an exhibition kitchen. Custom-designed chandeliers handmade from the Swarovski crystal curtain created for the 2009 Academy Awards hang from the ceiling while the floor-to-ceiling windows overlook the porte cochere at Aria and the Park. You can even sit outdoors for some excellent people watching.
The 6,000-square-foot restaurant is an offshoot of her original Beso in Hollywood.
Eve Nightclub sits on the second level of Beso. A 50-foot arched ceiling welcomes you as you walk into the intimate 8,000-square-foot club bedecked in black and gold. VIP booths sit in a circle around the circular dance floor, and giant video screens surround the dance floor to bring the music — a mix of hip-hop, Top 40 and dance — alive. Two bars sit off to the side.
Celebrities such as Kristin Cavallari from “The Hills,” Kim Kardashian from “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” and Kendra Wilkinson from “The Girls Next Door” have already made appearances at the club since it opened on New Year’s Eve.
Beso is open daily from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m., Sunday through Thursday from 5:30 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Friday and Saturday from 5:30 p.m. to midnight. Eve is open Wednesday through Saturday from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
