When in Vegas, There’s Rome…and an Update at The Forum Shops

There are few things we love doing more in Vegas than shopping and stargazing. And when luxury calls, The Forum Shops at Caesars always answers. If luxury retail destinations are your world, then The Forum Shops are your striking empire. And this luxe empire is rising.

Recently given store face-lifts, Ermenegildo Zegna, Gucci, and Versace keep on attracting high-end crowds from around the world. Italian fashion house Ermenegildo Zegna introduced a new store design just last month, April 2010. As a world leader in fine men’s clothing, it’s no wonder why Zegna nearly doubled their square footage to house their irresistible, finely tailored suits, sportswear, leather goods, accessories, knitwear, and shoes.

Increasing its square footage from 4,315 to 6,217 was Gucci, which came out with a spanking new store prototype concept in November 2009.

First to start the ball rolling on boutique renovations was Versace, which opened its new location with an au courant store design in September 2009.

World-class neighbors among the likes of Harry Winston, Balenciaga, Dior, Valentino, Bvlgari, Louis Vuitton, Tod’s, and the vast list goes on, are anticipating more updates at this internationally prestigious retail destination this fall. Burberry will enhance its product offering, including the full line of Burberry Brit merchandise, by adding 2,060 square feet to its 4,640 square-foot space for a total of 6,700 square feet.

Cartier currently has a new store under construction, and while the existing store is up and selling, just as we would expect from the world’s leading luxury jeweler, the new diamond encompassing bijouterie will be double its size. You can never have too much Cartier. Spring may be better known for newness, but demanding our attention come the autumn months will be St. John, which is relocating to its new terrain with a new design.

The Forum’s one-of-a-kind ambiance under beautiful blue skies, we mean ceilings, aglow with fountains and fish tanks, leads us to believe that the only place in the world that you could beckon more of an Ancient Rome feel in a shopping experience would be, well, in Rome itself. Far from Roman law, the latest from The Forum Shops certainly follows Haute Living law.
